Mike,
If you don't mind multiple replies and opinions....
Crutches: I would recommend finding the forearm type ahead of time
and bring them with you. I bought mine in SC before my first surgery,
but I had to contact several places to hunt down a pair. Save
yourself the headache.
Appetite: It may be different for all, but mine never went away. My
lunch got to my room just after I did post-op, and my mom was about
to wave them away saying that I had just woken up. I protested and
proceeded to devour the entire meal...I was ravenous.
Good luck on your surgery and your recovery. You're in great
hands....but you already knew that.
