Mike,
I had my surgery with Dr. Gross 12 days ago and only carried my
crutches which were prescribed last summer by a local OS. I did not
purchase the forearm ones although I understand they can be more
stable and comfortable.
I did not take a walker nor did I need one except for the first day in
the hospital. I had one at home that my grandmother had used but
never needed it. Each experience is different but in my case, a
walker was unnecessary.
HTH,
Marcia
