Hi Everyone,
Im scheduled to have a BHR op on Mar 11. My surgeon (Dr. Pritchett,
in Seattle) said, upon my questioning, that he thinks there's a good
chance that my BHR will last me the rest of my life, with as much
running as I want to do!! I am 55 years old. Yes, there's only about
15 years of empirical evidence so far on the BHR, but other testing,
such as stressing the BHR metal in the lab, indicates it will outlast
us. the cement will probably wear out before the BHR (my comment).
Now, Im just wondering what everyone elses doctors are telling them in
this regard.
Cheers, Nelson
