Yes, you can ask your doc for a prescription for low dose Naltrexone.  Print some info from the link below to take to your doc to educate him or her.

 

Lots of people start with 1.5 mg per night and slowly work up to 3.0 mg and then to 4.5 mg per night.  You can find lots of detailed information at www.lowdosenaltrexone.org.  You do not mention the health challenge you face.  For some, LDN is a lifetime necessity.  What are DMARDs?

 

What LDN should not be taken with are opoid drugs (marcotics), immune suppressing drugs or high dose steroids.  With that said, some people have reported staying on LDN while receiving chemotherapy.

Can I ask my GP here in England to prescribe the low dose Naltrexone?
Can I take it with other DMARDs, ie Minocin or Methotrexate? What
dosage should I take? Do you take anything else other than Naltrexone?

What should I say to my GP?
