we use alternative treatments for all things. we go to a homeopath,
traditional osteopathy, accupuncture, herbs and supplements. my 3 1/2
year old has never had antibiotics, tylenol, traditional cold
medicines - and he has had one ear infection which he didn't get until
he was 3 years old - and we treated it alternatively. we also haven't
vaccinated and we breastfed for the the first 3 years. writing this - i
sound like some militant alternative lifestyle person - not so!! :-)
but i have been compelled to do a lot of research and try to treat my
family proactively rather than reactively. and i also believe in
getting healthy - and not just masking symptoms. as for tort and
plagio - i have found the traditional osteopath to be the most helpful
as far as alternative care - but we also combined this with 2 doc
bands, p/t, o/t and s/t too. please feel free to ask me any questions
or email me for some references to info about anything i wrote about.
