I am 4 weeks post op and walking 6 miles a day as well as some
stationary bike work and doing the simple rehab excercises that I was
given. I have minimal pain and dont take any meds other than aspirin.
My Dr. has told me to wait until 6 weeks to start physical therapy. I
am in excellent condition and consider myself to be an athlete and was
wondering if anyone could tell me what type of physical therapy I
should be expecting. I want to find a therapist that has worked with
hip resurfaced / THR athletes to make sure I can get as much range of
motion and strength as possible. Any therapy group recommendations for
the Sacramento CA area? Also any description of what the therapy
entails would be appreciated.
