Well, I was scared too. It freaked me out, but the thought of moving into a wheelchair
freaked me out more. And I didn't like it at all. I was one of those who felt nauseous the
day after and couldn't keep anything down. Honestly, let's not deny it, I had a miserable
36 hours.
But you know what? It's over. It didn't last long. It wasn't too bad.
Keep your goal in mind. You are going to go through an unpleasant experience in
exchange for a new, functional hip! It will be some work, certainly, but instead of going
down hill you'll be improving. You'll be able to enjoy your family more, be more active,
have more fun!
Everything costs something. This is a real bargain!
