Yes, indeed, it is true!  My reaction was and continues to be the
 same.  I'm 7 months post-op and still improving.  It is only now
 post-surgery I can really understand how miserable I was before surgery.  
 
 Good for you on your wonderful results, and may your recovery and
 rehab give you just as much joy!
