Hi!
When I finally succumbed to the realization that I had to have surgery
it was because my MRI results stated that I had stage 4 AVN in both
hips. After sending all my info to Dr Gross, he told me that AVN is
very commonly mis-diagnosed and that I didn't have it! I still needed
surgery, but the absence of avascular necrosis was significant.
