Hi Allison;
I have had x-rays, ct scans, and an MRI, and it was the radiologist
that read the MRI that said I have avascular necrosis, but one doctor
says that after looking at everything he did not think I have it, but
would not put it in writing because he would not go against the
radiologist. Even my family doctor knows of this and he is with
Pennsylvania Hospital and he is very frustrated with all of this too.
I was not told I had AVN with any of the other tests until this
radiologist brought it up.
