I just had my second hip resurfed with Dr Gross on 12/12 - first on
7/11/07 and didn't know until I met with Dr G that I had dysplasia.
Thought it was just advanced OA. I don't recall the mention of an
offset cap but I will read over my op reports again. This doesn't
really mean anything - perhaps your situation requires an offset cap.
I'm positive you can get a very clear answer from the office if not
Dr Gross directly. Best of luck - you are in great hands. That
should aleviate alot of doubt!
